Lawyers often shy away from giving feedback because they fear any form of criticism may provoke defensiveness or damage the other person’s willingness to work with them. However, if it’s properly delivered, even critical feedback can not only improve performance but also build motivation and strengthen working relationships. This workshop provides practical advice about striking the right balance between challenge and support, motivating and coaching colleagues to improve performance, and delivering effective feedback remotely as well as in person.
