Lex Mundi Legal Writing and Editing Series
The Lex Mundi Legal Writing and Editing Series consists of fifteen instructional programs. This online video-based series can be used as an comprehensive writing training resource to meet core competencies for member firm lawyers. Any of the programs can also be used individually for stand-alone training on specialized writing topics. In addition, the program can be used as a “train the trainer” tool for supervising lawyers on how to provide editing feedback.The series includes instruction on:
- How to manage your own and others’ legal writing
- The relationship between legal reasoning and writing fundamentals of good legal writing
- How to write strong introductions micro and macro editing
- Details of English grammar and word choice
The series was developed by Tim Terrell, Professor of Law, Emory University Law School. Mr. Terrell has delivered numerous presentations to law firms within the Lex Mundi network and at the Lex Mundi Institute.
